fitting

I usually previs my costume roughly and then do frequent fitting tests. I said “usually” when I’m working the way I normally do with rubber foam and pattern. However 3D printing was little bit nerve wracking since I couldn’t really do the fitting test till everything was printed.

9/23 was also the Infinity 2.0 figure release date and I finally got to put my prints next to the real one. I think I did good. I think I captured the spirit of the character. Sometimes it’s good not to have an actual product, especially me, who gets obsessed with true measurement and designs. This is one of the reason I tend to make costume from sketches and early conceptual designs. I think those work captures essence of the character simply from designers view before adding more details.
