small size test prints in Ultimaker2 and Ultimaker2+Extended. this time i ordered enough ColorFabb filaments.
I chose to use 0.4mm nozzle for the face plate to catch small details and 0.8mm nozzle for hair. 0.8mm nozzle lays down more PLA than 0.4mm at once (of course…) and crates stronger bonds in each layer. Because of using the 0.8mm nozzle prints twice are fast as 0.4mm nozzle. When I have 8-10hrs print per pieces, I split the job between 2 machines so both are done at the same time. Good practice to schedule solid night sleep IMO.
