finally I had a guts to try ColorFabb’s woodfill PLA after reading so much about difficulty printing with this material 😅 i printed USB tops inspired by TH logo and pig&fox faces as a quick test.
with a 0.8mm nozzle, i input material pre-sets in UM2+ and modified a print setup for Cura (.ini file) based on ColorFabb’s website. ordered a 10m woodfill PLA sample from PrintedSolid. it sounded like “no retraction” and “material flow” is the key for woodfill to flow smoothly which means that i should have printed one-at-a-time instead of print-all-at-onceso no string between object with this test. keep nozzle tip hot so I’m still experimenting with “fan full on height” (in expert config) from 0.5mm (default) to 5mm because of reflection of fan from the build plate might cool down the nozzle tip (and get clogged)
*later I tried with 0.4mm nozzle on UM2 and it got stuck but i think it’s a matter of practice
